Jourdan Dunn dropped last minute from Dior.

Former London born beauty Jourdan Dunn, was supposed to walk down the catwalk in Dior's Haute Couture Autumn and Winter 2013 show, that took place in Paris on the 3rd of July, 2013, because of her boobs. Jourdan then took to twitter to tell all her followers that she usually gets cancelled because she's coloured. On this occasion, she said this was a minor. The 22 year old is a 32A according to the website: Storm Models.

I'm already a HUGE fan of Jourdan. Mainly because she models for my favorite brand, Victoria Secret. To think such a big branded company would lay her off because of her 'ample chest' actually shocks me. I've always been a fan of Dior's make up, but not necessarily their fashion. My views on this? So much of the younger generation now are following up all of these fashion events and if a 5'10 stunning model like Jourdan herself get's rejected from Dior, how the hell are young women supposed to feel like they have a set of feet to stand on?

My point is, Jourdan has gone from one extreme to the other. Victoria Secret ooze sex appeal. Dior have a real interest in Art, their fashion shows are linked and connected with things Dior is passionate about. Victoria Secret have no inspiration other than what patterns to put on their swim wear and underwear for each season. (No offence to them). I'm glad when I read on twitter that Jourdan didn't necessarily slam Dior all over the social networking site.

Here are her tweets for you:
Jourdan Dunn ✔ @missjourdandunn Ahahahahahaha I just for cancelled from Dior because of my boobs! I❤ fashion #Couture 10:05 PM - 30 Jun 2013

Jourdan Dunn ✔ @missjourdandunn I'm normally told I'm cancelled because I'm 'coloured' so being cancelled because off my boobs is a minor : ) 10:16 PM - 30 Jun 2013

However, the Victoria Secret beauty believes this isn't actually about her boobs. Jourdan reckons this is a dig at the ongoing criticism at Dior for using white models all the time since Raf Simons took over the french house.

I actually believe this is an awful case of racism within the fashion industry and I hope Jourdan takes it further. We love you Jourdan! ♥ x
