Garnier BB cream
This is my ultimate summer lust. As I and plenty of people already know, BB creams have taken the beauty world by storm and as summer comes, there’s nothing more that you want then to feel comfortable in your own skin without applying lots of makeup. BB stands for Beauty or Blemish barm, a multi-functional cream that has both make-up and skin care properties, so remember to still take off the BB cream before you go to bed! In the summer/spring, it’s hot – therefore why would you want your usual routine of maybe: primer, concealer, foundation, setting powder, blush etc… At night probably but in the day i’ve found that i want to have a little bit of coverage but not a lot – that’s why i brought the Garnier BB cream! This BB cream has been awarded by Cosmopolitan in the beauty awards of 2012 and is up and running again for them for 2013. It’s also been awarded by Zest Smart beauty awards in 2012, and Bazaar Beauty top 100 in 2012. The reason why? It’s an all-in-one moisturizer combining skincare with mineral pigments to even skin tone, illuminate, cover imperfections, with 24Hr Hydration and SPF protection. It’s great for people with sensitive skin and people who want a light coverage, it’s also easy to build coverage though.
Below is also the oil-free version they brought out which gives people that ‘matte’ effect and definitely improves the skin tone and reduces oiliness. The original BB cream by Garner can still be used on oily-skin but i recommend using a powder afterwards to matte the oily areas. I did use this product in winter when i over-used my moisturizer as it was so dry and i realized that I didn’t quite like the matte effect as i like that glow on people, however i was having a few skin problems and i switched to the oil-free one and it worked great with my skin. I invested in a nice blush and illuminatior to give me that glow in certain areas if i needed it.
Here is all the info from Garnier if you need it:
